hi? umm my name is Paris, I guess…if you can’t tell I’m a little bit (okay, a lot a bit) shy, but don’t let that fool ya! I love having my humans and my ridiculously crazy fur brothers around — I always need to see what they’re up to, even though I can’t let them know I’m watching and often run back to my spot on the couch if they see me checking in. They also keep taking me on these things called walks, and I think I really like those! My family keeps telling me I’m a pretty pup and they often wonder what happened in my past life to make me so timid; I wish I could tell them…but I know now everyone’s not so scary, it just takes me a while to learn that. I’d love to have a family of my own where I can grow to be comfortable, but I need my new family to be patient, kind and gentle. It can be a lot to ask, but if you think you can help make me feel safe I’m your girl!

Good with Kids: I’d do best either without kids or with older kids who can understand I need time to adjust and scare easily

While it can be challenging at first, it is incredibly rewarding to see these dogs grow and come out of their shells. Please give them a chance if you are able! https://resources.bestfriends.org/article/puppy-mill-rescue-dogs-transition-home-life
