Meet Chuck — the best Chuck you’ll ever know.

You’ve heard of Chuck Norris, Chuck Berry, and Chuck E. Cheese… but none of them can hold a candle to this guy. Chuck spent his early life working as a breeder, and now he’s finally ready to trade that in for belly rubs, car rides, and a real home to call his own.

This sweet boy loves cruising with the windows down, playing outside, getting his ears scratched, and curling up in a cozy bed at the end of the day. Because he’s still learning the ropes of just being a dog, Chuck would love a canine sibling to show him how it’s done (and to be his new best friend).

Ello again...

In case you forgot, I'm Gretzky. I've been in foster care for a long time now and I've really got a good schedule down. I'll tell you about it if you want....

First I wake up and am excited to go potty outside. It's one of my favorite times and I may bark or nip your butt with excitement. Don't worry, I'm not /that/ excited. I just really have to pee.

Then I come inside and lay on my beddy. It's my favorite spot. Unfortunately, I'm what my foster calls 'a babe magnet.' This means my canine and feline roommates will come to snuggle in my beddy with me, even in very warm temperatures. I don't understand it either. So we spend the next several hours rotating beddies until lunch, when we go back outside.

Much sleeping is had. And snacks.

Then the garage door opens and my room mates and I loose our collective minds because foster M'mam is home! I love her.

And it means we get to do the best thing ever: walkies. I love pooping when I'm on a leash. I love walking. I don't need to smell anything, I don't care. I just like to walk. Especially in the woods!

Sometimes we will see people on our walk. It makes me very nervous. Sometimes they will ask to pet me. I tell them 'No Thank You' by desperately trying to get away from them. Then I am edgy the rest of the walk. What if they secretly pop out of a bush to pet me?? Sometimes my foster M'mam will lock me in the bathroom and pet me. I've gotten used to this strange habit, but I don't really like it.

Then, after food smells (sometimes I get veggie scraps to chew on) and screen time, I get my pill treat and it's time for bed.

I bet you thought I forgot snack and drinking breaks.

I didn't.

After the lights go off, I remember I need water to survive and chug all the water. Then I vomit out the extra. Then, I will often drink the extra off the floor. I don't want to make a mess. This is probably why I'm so eager to pee in the morning.

So that is my life. It's way better than it was. My foster keeps trying to push me to do bigger and better things. But it's hard! I need someone with patience and who won't expect too much from me...

I won't expect much from you either! I just want walks and to feel safe and protected.

Meet Turbo 🐾

Say hello to Turbo, a sweet 8-year-old Plott Hound who is ready to find a family of her very own! ❤️

Turbo is a loving/sometimes playful/gentle/goofy pup who loves - walks, snuggling on the couch under a blanket, or just hanging out wherever you are. She is happiest when she is outside just soaking up some sun or in your bed with you at night.

Her foster mom says, Turbo has been great. We have been working on counter surfing and barking. She is house-trained/crate-trained and leash-trained, but we have been working on that too as she is a hound and she likes to pull, which is understandable as they were bred to hunt after all. She is not fond of car rides, but loves to go in the car. She would do great with dogs/kids. Not sure about cats.

Like every dog, Turbo has her own unique personality and may need a little time, patience, and encouragement while settling into a new home. But once she feels comfortable, she’ll reward you with plenty of love and loyalty.

Hi, I’m Zoey! 🐾

My smile goes for a million miles — which is exactly how far I can run! Don’t worry, though, I won’t run away from you. After a hard day of play, all I want is to snuggle up with you, because I’ve earned it!

I’m very active, but I’m just as content watching you go about your morning or afternoon routine while I entertain myself. I have learned to give you my best puppy dog eyes while you’re busy, though — just to make sure I get some extra attention! I even love hopping into my crate for a little rest all on my own.

I’m still working on my manners when I get excited to say hi — I used to jump up a lot, but I’m learning that I get way more love by keeping all four paws on the ground!

I am eager to please and eager for attention, in whatever form it comes.

The birds, rabbits, and squirrels around here haven’t caught on yet — they just run and fly away instead of sticking around to chat. Don’t they know how to have a conversation?!

My tongue isn’t just for panting — it’s also for giving you all the kisses you could ever want. I’ll wrap my paws around yours and keep you close… as long as there aren’t any socks or Crocs nearby to distract me. I swear, “I thought that was a toy!” comes out of my mouth (sort of) way too often. They taste great — you should try it sometime! (Kidding. Mostly.)

I always go potty outside, where I like to take care of business — and I definitely mix business with pleasure.

I love big dogs and little dogs alike, though the little ones have a hard time keeping up with me. I can be a bit of a bull in a china shop around other dogs, and sometimes on leash too — but I’m working hard with my foster mom on not overpowering her on our walks. I think she’s just afraid of getting as ripped as I am. What a punk!

I need a home that’s active, both physically and mentally. I do just fine on my own, but I love frequent playtime with other dogs — and I’d be thrilled to have a sibling my size to keep me company all day, though I don’t need one to be happy.
