Bella & Daisy

Hi, we're Daisy and Bella. We have found ourselves being surrendered to rescue because our parents had to go to assisted living. We were very well cared for and loved! Therfore, we would LOVE a home together if possible. We do well with older children, and we even have cats at our foster home! We like to play with our foster siblings and LOVE walks. We'd love a home where we can cuddle or chill on the couch with you. No worries leaving us at home, Daisy will even give you her biggest smile when you return!

Ceci

Hey there, I’m Ceci.

Let me tell you a little about my journey! Before coming to my foster home, I only knew one person and lived with seven other dogs. Because of that, I can be a little shy with new humans. Though, if you bring the cookies, I’ll warm up in no time! I’m friendly with other dogs, though I do have a bit of a herding instinct. Some dogs get it, some don’t, so I tend not to play too much with them.

I’m a sweet, quirky, independent lady who loves a good routine. I like knowing how things work around the house—when meals happen, where the best nap spots are, and, of course, what time you’ll be home. Speaking of naps, I fully believe a home should have multiple dog beds. Like one in every room, please! But don’t worry, I’ll still hop into your bed for some morning snuggles when the timing feels right.

I also like to chat from time to time. You’ll hear from me when it’s breakfast or dinner (because priorities), or when I hear your car pulling into the driveway after you’ve been gone for what feels like forever. I just like to make sure you know I missed you!

Now, let’s talk about my dream home. I’d love a calm, quiet place with a solid routine, warm beds to snuggle into, and a full belly from breakfast and dinner. Walks? Sure, I’ll join you! I’m great on a leash, too. Not big on going for walks? No problem. I’m perfectly happy staying home and watching movies with you too. Also, I’d prefer a home without young kids since I’m enjoying my well-earned retirement years.

Really, I’m just an easygoing lady looking for a cozy place to settle down. I have so much love to give—I just need the right person to share it with.

Coco

Coco here! I'm an older chiauhaha looking for my forever home. I'd prefer a quiet home where I can cuddle in blankets or lay in the sunshine. I'm a typical chihuahua- smart and sassy. (Please read up on chihuahuas before applying!)

Let me brag about myself for a minute:

✅I get along with other dogs.

✅I love to go for walks or be outside. (A fenced yard would be a great but it’s not required)

✅ I'm very good in my kennel ( make sure there's a comfy pillow or lots of blankets)

Do you lead the quiet life and think you might be my forever family? If so, apply today!

Cookie

Meet Cookie! (The Dog Who Doesn’t Need You)

Hi, I’m Cookie. I’m about three-ish years old, but let’s be honest — I’m probably older than that because I’ve been around the block a few times. I’m a strong-willed, sassy girl, which is basically dog speak for “I know what I want, and I want it now.” I’m also incredibly independent, which means I don’t need you. But hey, if you’re nice enough, I’ll let you be part of my life. You’ll get my trust — eventually — if you’re worthy. Spoiler alert: It’ll take a while.

Things I’m afraid of:

Most humans (you’re weird, stop staring at me)

Unexpected noises (WHY DOES EVERYTHING MAKE SO MUCH NOISE?)

People who want to cuddle me without my permission (rude)

The vacuum (it’s clearly a monster, don’t even try to tell me otherwise)

Things I’m good at:

Hiding in plain sight (I’m really good at it, actually. You’ll barely know I’m around. Like a ninja, but fluffier.)

Stubbornly refusing to follow orders (because who needs rules, am I right?)

Giving you the cold shoulder when you’re being too much

I can sit, though — but only when I feel like it.

What I’m looking for in a human:

Someone who’s patient. You’re gonna need it.

Someone who understands that I need time to warm up. Like, a lot of time. If you’re in a hurry, you’re not the one for me.

A human who knows how to give space, respect boundaries, and let me come to you — when I’m ready.

Must be okay with my sassy side. If you don’t love a good “get lost” look, this isn’t going to work out.

Why adopt me?

Because I’m one of a kind. There’s no one else like me. I’m the mystery you didn’t know you needed in your life. I’ll keep you on your toes and remind you daily that not everything in life is about cuddles and fetch. I’m here to teach you how to respect a queen… and if you’re really lucky, maybe I’ll let you pet me.

Don’t expect cuddles right away, but expect loyalty after I figure out that you’re not a threat (it’ll take time, but I’m worth it).

So, if you’re ready to take on the challenge, be prepared for a lot of sass, a little fear, and a whole lot of love (once I warm up to you). But don’t expect me to be easy. I’m Cookie, and I do things my way or no way. 😎You can apply for me at: https://www.fetchfosterandrescue.com/adopt

Cooper

Hello everyone, my name is Cooper! I am a 2-year-old pit mix (foster parents think staffie or boxer) that loves life to the fullest. I’m a little goofy and can be a little skittish, but I’m the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet. I love running around outside and chasing whatever toy you decide to throw (good luck getting it back from me though!) and playing tug of war in the house.

I get very excited when it’s time to go on walks, but if relaxing on the couch is what you like then I will gladly cuddle and chill all day! I’ve had a good time playing with other dogs at the dog park but sometimes I get a bit intimidated if those dogs come on too strong and might act out a little. I am working hard on building up my confidence and comfort levels and getting better every day! I would love to be a member of a loving family who wants to help and train me to over-come these struggles and bring out the best in me!

Duke

Hey, Hi, Hello, Over Here! Oh good, I got your attention. I’m Dukes, a young pup full of energy. I’m a Jack Russell Terrier, so being active is in my nature. I can jump high & my foster mom says I’m like a pogo stick. Because of that, older kids would be best in my future home, otherwise I might knock a little one down on accident.

I love going for walks & think I’d be great at agility or going hiking with you. I love to be outside sniffing around & checking out the world. I am potty trained & know my kennel is a safe place inside, but I’d rather be sitting on the couch next by you. And when it’s bedtime, I want to sleep next to you…sometimes under the covers. What can I say, I’m a lover.

I really like other dogs & don’t mind cats either. If the cats run at my foster home, I do want to chase them though, it’s fun. My ideal family would only be gone for short periods of time since I don’t like to be alone. Maybe you have another dog for me to be best pals with? Otherwise, if you also don’t like being alone, we could be a perfect match! Apply for me today!

I love going for long walks and oooooo I do enjoy a good car ride.

I do currently live with my sister, Cookie, now and it would be cool to find a home with her if possible. We play so well together even though she can be annoying sometimes 😝 We don’t HAVE to end up in the same home, but it sure would make us happy.

Gretzky

Ello again...

In case you forgot, I'm Gretzky. I've been in foster care for a long time now and I've really got a good schedule down. I'll tell you about it if you want....

First I wake up and am excited to go potty outside. It's one of my favorite times and I may bark or nip your butt with excitement. Don't worry, I'm not /that/ excited. I just really have to pee.

Then I come inside and lay on my beddy. It's my favorite spot. Unfortunately, I'm what my foster calls 'a babe magnet.' This means my canine and feline roommates will come to snuggle in my beddy with me, even in very warm temperatures. I don't understand it either. So we spend the next several hours rotating beddies until lunch, when we go back outside.

Much sleeping is had. And snacks.

Then the garage door opens and my room mates and I loose our collective minds because foster M'mam is home! I love her.

And it means we get to do the best thing ever: walkies. I love pooping when I'm on a leash. I love walking. I don't need to smell anything, I don't care. I just like to walk. Especially in the woods!

Sometimes we will see people on our walk. It makes me very nervous. Sometimes they will ask to pet me. I tell them 'No Thank You' by desperately trying to get away from them. Then I am edgy the rest of the walk. What if they secretly pop out of a bush to pet me?? Sometimes my foster M'mam will lock me in the bathroom and pet me. I've gotten used to this strange habit, but I don't really like it.

Then, after food smells (sometimes I get veggie scraps to chew on) and screen time, I get my pill treat and it's time for bed.

I bet you thought I forgot snack and drinking breaks.

I didn't.

After the lights go off, I remember I need water to survive and chug all the water. Then I vomit out the extra. Then, I will often drink the extra off the floor. I don't want to make a mess. This is probably why I'm so eager to pee in the morning.

So that is my life. It's way better than it was. My foster keeps trying to push me to do bigger and better things. But it's hard! I need someone with patience and who won't expect too much from me...

I won't expect much from you either! I just want walks and to feel safe and protected.

Lily Bell

Age is just a number, right? Can you believe that I’m 13 years old? The vet even said that I, Lily Bell, have a “spicy spirit!” There are, however, certain things I don’t care for: other dogs in my personal space (like in my face), being picked up a lot, & sharing my treats or favorite spot to rest. Now for the things I love: a (mostly) quiet home, food & treats (I’m very food motivated), cuddling with my special people, laying in the sun, & going for walks! Don’t you need a walking buddy?

Oh, I’m also house trained. I am still adjusting to my foster home & tend to bark at new people or barking dogs nearby. But the good news is that I do settle down quickly. Would you like to give me a loving home for my “golden” years? I still have a lot of spunk & love to give. Please apply for me, Lily Bell (Lily for short). 🩷

Max

Hey, I’m Max!

I’m a big, hunk of a pup! At just 8 months old, with lots of learning and love ahead of me. In my old life, I spent my days outside and my nights indoors, but now, all I want is to be near my humans!

I didn’t get much training before, so I’m still figuring out this whole “obedience” thing. A home that can offer me structure, routine, and gentle guidance will help me thrive. I’m also working on building my confidence because, the big wide world can be a little overwhelming when you’re not used to it.

I’m great with other dogs, LOVE People, and I’ve been working on crate training. I’m fully potty trained with the help of a doggie door, which makes things pretty easy. Most of all, I just want love, snuggles, and a soft place to land and grow into the best dog I can be!

Milo

Hey, hey! Milo here- just wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing?

My life is going pretty dang great, however I am missing one thing. It’s a family to call my own! My last mom owned me since I was just a puppy until now. She could no longer care for me so I found myself as an orphan… I wasn't socialized much as a young pup so I am more of a one or two person kind of dog.

I am up for any adventure that involves just spending time with me! I love laying on the couch watching Netflix, a good football game or a nice long walk. I found myself stuck to my foster mom like her little shadow, but she has lots of other shadows too so I want to find my own family.

I get along with all dogs as long as they are respectful of my age and size, I don't mind cats at all either. Fast moving kids will not be my thing, they are just so unpredictable and loud. I love to be cuddled and snuggled. Sleeping under the covers is a must as my hair is so fine I get cold easily. I have mastered this potty thing and haven't had accidents in weeks now! I am off leash trained but only to my one or two special humans.

If you think you could be one of my special humans- apply for me today!

Nila

Hey there! I’m Nila, a sweet little Australian Cattle Dog, on a mission to find my forever person.

I may not trust everyone right away, but I promise, once I pick you, I’m all in. I’ll be your shadow, your loyal sidekick, and your biggest fan. I just need a little help with that whole “trusting others” thing, especially when they come close to my person. I love my human so much, sometimes I forget to share the love—I'm working on that, though!

I'm looking for someone experienced who can show me that there’s plenty of love and attention to go around. With a little guidance, I know I’ll learn to be more comfortable with visitors and share the love, but I’m also the kind of dog who loves quality time with the person I choose.

As for the rest of the crew? I’m great with other dogs, big or small! I attend doggie daycare twice a week & LOVE it. Cats? Totally cool with them, too. If you’re into walks, jogs, or runs, I’d make a fantastic partner. I walk nicely on a leash, and I’m a top-tier car passenger, ready for any adventure.

I’d do best in a home with older kids, as I like a calm vibe and need a little space to adjust when I meet new faces.

So, if you’re looking for a fun, energetic, and loving companion who’s a little shy at first but ready to bond deeply once I know you’re the one—then I might just be the perfect match!

Let’s start this adventure together! 🐾🩷

Olly

Hi there, I’m Olly!

Let me tell you a little about myself. First, my humans have given me two nicknames: Olly Polly and Olister Brown. This must mean I have been accepted into their pack?! Second, I’ve got the smarts, the energy, and the heart to be your new best friend. I already know the important stuff: sit, shake, stay, and even “play dead” (I really nail that one). Last, I’m kennel trained, house trained, and very motivated by food and treats. Basically, if snacks are involved, I’m in.

I’m a big-time snuggle bug who will happily curl up with you after a day of fun. But don’t let my sweet side fool you, I’m also full of energy! I love playing with other dogs, but sometimes I get so excited that I need a reminder to take a break. My foster family is helping me work on that.

I do have a voice (okay, maybe a lot of voice) and like to use it to let you know who is at the house, so I’m practicing keeping my commentary to a minimum. I’m still working on my recall when I’m off-leash, so until I’ve got that mastered, I’d be happiest in a home with a fenced yard or even a big farm where I can safely stretch my legs.

Being a herding dog, I thrive when I have space to burn off my energy. I’m okay with cats once we’ve been properly introduced, and while I haven’t been around small children in my foster home, I previously lived with little ones.

My dream home? A place where I can run, play, and then crash for some serious cuddle time. A family that will keep my brain and body busy, but also appreciate my love and affection. If you’re looking for a smart, loving, and sometimes goofy companion, I think we’d make a great team.

Qtip

Who’s camera shy? I am! 🤣Whenever my foster mom picks up that small black thing & aims it at me, I run away! It’s kind of funny, don’t you think? I’m Qtip, but my family calls me Cutie. I’ve been with Fetch for almost 11 months! I was rescued from a life of breeding & need someone who’s patient & accepts me just the way I am. I also need another dog in your home to help me feel more confident, & a fenced in yard. I know it’s a lot to ask, but I’m worth it.

I’m still pretty nervous but I’m doing better since I’ve been eating some natural chews. Check this out: I’ve been seen rolling in the grass, trying out different dog beds (not in my crate), walking on a leash to the side of mom (instead of hiding behind her), & just spending more time with the other dogs & my foster family. I am still working on house training, but sometimes I find a pee pad to do my business inside. If you have a patio or deck right outside the door, that would be awesome for me! Will you give me a chance at “happily ever after?” If so, ask for Qtip (aka Cutie). 💖

Once I get settled into a new environment, I’ll show you my cuddly, loving side, but new people and loud noises make me nervous, so patience is key as I get used to new situations.

What I Need:

A calm, understanding home where I can take my time to adjust

A family that respects my space and knows that I’ll come to them when I’m ready

A securely fenced yard (I’m small and can squeeze through tight spaces if I get scared)

A sibling who’s calm and not possessive of their bones (I love to "borrow" them!)

Kids who understand my need for personal space, especially when I’m in my safe spot

A consistent potty schedule (I’m doing great with training when there’s a routine!)

A Little About Me:

I’m good with dogs and cats of all sizes – Cats that like to play with dogs only please or I would be rather annoying to them.

I’m learning to be brave, and I’m working hard on overcoming my fears. I love treats so that makes training fun for me.

I enjoy walks as long as I’m on a leash (I tend to get scared and run when I’m not on one)

My favorite thing is to find a cozy spot in the house where I can relax and recharge, normally behind the couch is my favorite place.

I may be a little nervous at first, but with the right family, I’ll show you how loving and playful I can be. If you’re patient, kind, and ready to give me the time I need, I’ll be your best friend for life!

If you think we’d be a good match, let’s meet up and see if we’re a perfect fit!

Seven

Seven's previous life is a mystery, but if we had to guess, it wasn't pleasant. Then this sensitive, loving girl spent a month at a shelter where they cared greatly for her but she was so afraid she would crawl underneath her cot to hide. Since being in foster she is becoming the dog she was always meant to be. She is a fun, loving happy girl. She's shy at first but not for long. She's a bit of a scaredy cat but is curious and will come back to investigate.

Seven loves a good ball to play with, a good hike and would make a great running partner. Her foster home doesn't have kids but her foster family thinks she would be good with kids. She's great with the resident dogs and cat. Seven's ideal home would have another dog and live an active lifestyle that would include her in the fun. It would also be best if she had a fenced yard.

If you're looking for a sweet lovable girl, Seven might be the girl for you.

Shakey

Hi, nice to meet you, I’m Shakey. The name’s “Shakey” because I’m pretty nervous and skiddish because I was just rescued from a bad place… a puppy mill and because my foster loves pizza, anyone remember Shakey’s Pizza?!

The right home for me will be one who wants to help a dog like me! I require patience because I am just starting to learn how to do “normal” dog things… up until now, every minute of my life was spent caged up… I’d never been taken outside, given treats, or even had a name before! It would be very helpful if my new home has another dog that I can learn from. I love to be held, and cuddled, and when I feel comfortable I love to give very sweet kisses!

Every dog is different, but here is some information on what bringing a breeder dog into your home can be like and some supports they may need to transition into their new life! While it can be challenging at first, it is incredibly rewarding to see these dogs grow and come out of their shells. Please give them a chance if you are able!

Shasta

As we enter a new year, I want to introduce myself. I'm Shasta, a 12-year-old young lady. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I lived with my dad until recently when he had to go to an assisted living home. No one else could care for me, so I ended up at the shelter. This really great group called Fetch came to get me and now I've been staying in a home with my foster mom.

I really am the bestest girl and always tell her when I have to go out to potty. My paperwork told her I'm not always the best with other dogs, but I've actually been really good with the small, calm dogs that she has in her house. I am a little weary of strangers and new dogs but I seem to warm up quickly.

My foster mom says I could stand to lose a few pounds (I mean who couldn't) but my foster mom has been helping me go for short walks. With the lack of exercise, my back hips are on the weak side but my foster mom has been giving me hip and joint supplements and the walks have been helping to build up the strength again. What I'm looking for is a quiet home where I can rest and get lots of pets. I really love a good belly rub or good butt scratch. If you are interested in an older pup that is looking for a quiet home to live and get some good love, please check me out at Fetch Foster and Rescue. And remember, the name is Shasta.

Sherlock

I'm not old, I'm classic!

This old dog is like a classic car, no longer in his prime but still holding a special charm. My tires have seen a good number of miles, and while they may not zoom around like a new model, they still enjoy a good walk. This model comes with a well-worn exterior. Just as an old car might have a few dents, faded paint, and maybe a bit of rust, this old body comes with a few lumps and bumps and a gray muzzle that are a testament to a life lived fully. “Check Engine” light comes on a little more often than a newer model, so regular vet visits are a must to keep me running smoothly. I may not be the fastest or the flashiest anymore, but I'm powered by the love of my owner.

These are my favorites:

♥️ ️ Being outside with the sunshine warming my body and the cool grass on my belly.

♥️ Going for walks.

♥️ Sleeping with my family.

♥️ Being close to my family.

❤️ Watermelon 🍉

Tohru

Now, wait just a minute! Don't just scroll over me - puh-leas. I'm Tohru and I've been a hardwork'n mama for my whole life! I came to Fetch with a bellyful of pups and their baby daddy. Guess who birthed them? Raised them? Got bitten, chased, harassed and kept up at night by those little goblins? Me! And they all got adopted before me,(even their dad!)

I'm finally experiencing some piece and quiet, but I want a home of my own.

Let me give you the run down. I'm sweet and love to be pet. I want to be in the room with you and see what your up to. I don't need constant attention, I'm a Shiba after all. I do enjoy an occasional cheese or biscuit.

I. Love. Toys. I like to shake them and rip them and make them squeak for mercy! I like tug toys too. I'm potty trained and kennel trained. Cats are fine, dogs are fine, but I could be okay by myself. I think.

Pretty good right? Now, I'll admit, I have some flaws. I don't like leashes.

I'll let you know if there is stranger danger.

I don't like things that beep and boop. I'll tell your coffee maker, oven timer and fire alarm to shut it. Same for dogs barking in movies.

Most days I'm content to quietly pace around the house, but sometimes ... I burst. Everything gets a barked at. The squirrels, and that leaf, your ancestors. I just have to let my feelings be known! I'm working on it, I promise, but venting is the only way for me to work through it right now. My fosters put me in my pen when I get overwhelmed and it normally helps.

Phew. Sorry. That seemed like a lot, but honestly I'm a really good girl! I just need some of the tender loving care that I've been dooling out so long.

Turbo

"Hi, I'm Turbo, but don't let the name fool you! I'm currently accepting applications for the position of 'Permanent Human Companion'. My qualifications include: expert-level napping skills (especially on the couch), a strong work ethic when it comes to belly rubs, and a proven ability to make you laugh with my dramatic snorts and dramatic sighs. Dislikes include: sudden loud noises, riding in the car, being left out of the snack loop, and having my naps interrupted. Strengths: cuddles, loyalty, and a healthy appreciation for naps. I'm looking for a home with a comfy couch, a reliable source of treats, and a human who understands that sometimes, a dog just needs to be left alone (to nap, of course)."

Walter

Hey! I’m Walter! I’ve been with Fetch for awhile now, and I’m STILL looking for my forever family. Let me reintroduce myself:

I’m a happy boy who likes to be a part of what’s going on. Whether we’re making dinner, you’re showering, or doing laundry - doesn’t matter to me as long as we’re together. I can supervise any project you got goin on! I am always excited to show you what I have. I am kennel/crate trained and I know to do my business outside! I’m strong, like you can tell I work out and all that. I know how to walk nicely on a leash but sometimes I seriously forget it’s even attached, this nose of mine is soooo powerful it’s crazy. I am special, my foster mom says it all the time. Just to make sure I get enough love and attention, it would be best if I am the only “good boy” in my forever home. I run like a graceful rhino and my white hair is so silky soft you won’t be able to resist loving on me.

I really want to leave my troubled past behind me. People who know me, tell me that I need structure and leadership: if you let me be the pack leader, I will take advantage of that situation. I love training and learning, my foster mom is kick butt cool at it, she has lots more information for you since I am sooo special, so apply and let’s get this party started!

Zora is a beautiful petite shepherd mix looking for her forever home! If you’re looking for a sensitive, sweet, smart, fun and oh so loyal companion, Zora just may be the girl for you. Zora is good with other dogs and cats. She is crate trained (although she probably doesn't need it), house trained, and walks great on leash. She is shy when first meeting people but once she becomes attached to you, she is all in at being by your side and loving you with everything she has. Zora prefers no kids in her furever home.
