COURTESY POST- Bud

COURTESY POST

Hi, I’m Bud! 🐾

I’m a 2-year-old American Akita mix, tipping the scales at 59 lbs of love. Life dealt me a rough hand when my last owner abandoned me, but some wonderful people took me in and gave me a fresh start. I’m getting settled in and I’m ready to find my forever home!

A little about me:

🩵 I’m neutered, up to date on my vaccines, and microchipped — my new humans took great care of me

🩵 I LOVE playing catch and I’ll happily play with any toy you hand me

🩵 I’m a total snuggle bug — I crave affection and just want to be near my people

🩵 I do well with other dogs and love to play, though I’m still working on my manners around cats and cows (a fenced yard would help me stay out of trouble!)

🩵 I’m currently learning leash manners with my harness

Since my current family is helping me heal, I’ll come to you with all my vet records, my microchip info, and even a Fi Mini GPS tracker, so you can always find me.

I’m hoping to find my forever humans soon — the kind who’ll give me space to run, love to give, and patience while I learn the ropes.

If you think we might be a match, please fill out an application today! 🐾❤️

Meet Caesar! 🐾

Caesar is a big, lovable boy with an even bigger heart. This handsome Mastiff/Great Dane/Lab/Pit mix tips the scales at 88 lbs — but don’t let his size fool you. He’s a gentle giant who gets along beautifully with kids, dogs, cats, and people of all kinds.

Caesar comes fully ready for his forever home: neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations (including kennel cough), house trained, and crate trained. No medical or behavioral concerns — just a sweet, well-rounded pup looking for someone to love.

He’s got a moderate-to-high energy level, so he’d thrive with a family that enjoys walks, playtime, or just an active lifestyle. He does tend to be a little cautious around men at first, but with patience and consistency, he warms right up. He just wants to know he’s safe — and once he does, he’ll be your most loyal companion.

If you’re looking for a big, beautiful, good-natured dog who fits right into family life, Caesar might just be your perfect match. Apply today — we have a feeling it’ll be love at first sight. 🐶

Fortune

As Fortune approaches two years in foster care, everyone who knows him is asking the same question: How has this wonderful boy not been adopted yet?

Fortune is a sweet, gentle Great Pyrenees mix who's simply looking for a patient family willing to give him the time he needs to feel safe. Once he trusts you, you'll have one of the most loyal companions you could ask for.

Fortune is truly an easy dog to live with. He's fully potty trained, dog-door trained, and non-destructive when left home alone. He settles into a routine beautifully and asks for very little—just a safe place, a little patience, and someone to love.

One of Fortune's favorite activities is going for walks, and he's an absolute gentleman on a leash. He also loves car rides, making him the perfect road trip companion. At home, you'll often find him relaxing in the sunshine or happily patrolling the yard, always keeping an eye out for squirrels, rabbits, and other critters. When he feels safe, he loves to run and explore, so a securely fenced yard is required.

Fortune enjoys being brushed, does well during baths, and settles nicely in his kennel. With his low-to-medium energy level, he's just as happy lounging around the house as he is exploring the backyard.

Fortune is shy, especially around men, and needs adopters who understand that trust takes time. He'll thrive with a family that allows him to adjust at his own pace and celebrates the little victories along the way. Watching him gain confidence is incredibly rewarding.

He gets along well with other dogs but should be fed separately due to mild food guarding. Fortune is not cat-friendly and would do best in a home with children 14 years or older.

At a healthy 70 pounds, Fortune is ready to find the forever family he's been waiting for.

Gretzky

Ello again...

In case you forgot, I'm Gretzky. I've been in foster care for a long time now and I've really got a good schedule down. I'll tell you about it if you want....

First I wake up and am excited to go potty outside. It's one of my favorite times and I may bark or nip your butt with excitement. Don't worry, I'm not /that/ excited. I just really have to pee.

Then I come inside and lay on my beddy. It's my favorite spot. Unfortunately, I'm what my foster calls 'a babe magnet.' This means my canine and feline roommates will come to snuggle in my beddy with me, even in very warm temperatures. I don't understand it either. So we spend the next several hours rotating beddies until lunch, when we go back outside.

Much sleeping is had. And snacks.

Then the garage door opens and my room mates and I loose our collective minds because foster M'mam is home! I love her.

And it means we get to do the best thing ever: walkies. I love pooping when I'm on a leash. I love walking. I don't need to smell anything, I don't care. I just like to walk. Especially in the woods!

Sometimes we will see people on our walk. It makes me very nervous. Sometimes they will ask to pet me. I tell them 'No Thank You' by desperately trying to get away from them. Then I am edgy the rest of the walk. What if they secretly pop out of a bush to pet me?? Sometimes my foster M'mam will lock me in the bathroom and pet me. I've gotten used to this strange habit, but I don't really like it.

Then, after food smells (sometimes I get veggie scraps to chew on) and screen time, I get my pill treat and it's time for bed.

I bet you thought I forgot snack and drinking breaks.

I didn't.

After the lights go off, I remember I need water to survive and chug all the water. Then I vomit out the extra. Then, I will often drink the extra off the floor. I don't want to make a mess. This is probably why I'm so eager to pee in the morning.

So that is my life. It's way better than it was. My foster keeps trying to push me to do bigger and better things. But it's hard! I need someone with patience and who won't expect too much from me...

I won't expect much from you either! I just want walks and to feel safe and protected.

Max

Hey everybody! I’m Max!

I’m a 7 year old goldendoodle with a heart full of love and a dash of super silly.

My ideal forever home would have someone be home with me more often than not. I really love hanging out with people and being alone dims my sparkle.

When I am home alone, I’ll need to be kept in a secure kennel. I’m a Houdini. If you don’t believe me, don’t say I didn’t warn you. And don’t scold me for whatever mischief I get into.

I’m potty trained. Walk pretty nicely on a leash. Have good recall. I’m all sizes dog friendly. All sizes kid friendly. I wait nicely for brushing, towel drying, and grooming.

My favorite things include people, being petted and loved on, other dogs, toys, walks, sun bathing or zoom zooming in the yard, playing in the pool, and FOOD!!! I’m serious. Any kind of food. If it’s not given to me but I can find a way to reach it, I promise you it’ll be mine.

If you have anything edible left unattended on your counters or tables, I will snatch it. I’m a little viper when it comes to nabbing things that even remotely resemble food. Same goes for walks… clumps of grass left over from mowing? Gotta taste test those (I usually spit them out though). Pine cones, not edible but I gotta try to be sure!! Weird mushrooms growing in someone’s yard?! Bird seed??!! Animal feces someone didn’t pickup?! Yep it’s gross to you but not to me!! These things can be a small challenge at first but are easily managed by staying aware of surroundings and keeping unhealthy temptations out of my reach.

I am an absolutely wonderful dog. I am incredibly friendly and I’m so easy to coexist with, especially once all my quirks are understood and proper precautions are taken.

If I sound like a good match for you / your family, fill out an application for me (Max) ASAP! I can’t wait to meet you!! 🐾❤️

Panini

Meet Panini! 🐾

This sweet mini goldendoodle girl is learning that life can be soft and safe and full of love — and she’s taking to it beautifully. Panini was recently rescued from a commercial breeding facility, so she’s still discovering all the wonderful, ordinary things about being a family dog for the very first time.

She’s shown just how easily she can bond with her people, quickly warming up to her foster mom and settling into a total Velcro-girl routine — she loves being wherever her people are. At mealtimes she can’t contain her excitement and breaks into the most adorable happy zoomy dance around the living room. At night, she loves curling up in bed with her foster family, soaking in all the coziness she missed out on before.

Because of her background, Panini is still a bit skittish around loud noises and fast movements, so she’ll do best with gentle, predictable energy while she continues to build her confidence. Panini is a great kennel guest when her foster mom heads to work, settling in calmly on her own — she just prefers being close to her people when they’re home (wouldn’t you?). Potty training is a work in progress (about 50% there), and she’ll keep building on that with her next family.

Panini would thrive in a home with:

🏡 A fenced-in yard to romp and explore

🐕 A calm, confident dog to help show her the ropes

💛 Patient, loving people who understand she’s still learning how to be a normal, happy dog

🛋️ A family who doesn’t mind a devoted shadow

Panini has so much love saved up to give — she just needs the right people to help her learn how good life can be. Could that be you?

Reggie

Meet Reggie, a medical research facility survivor

People friendly ✔

Kid friendly ✔

Dog friendly ✔

Cat friendly ✔ (needs a dog-savvy cat)

Food motivated ✔

House trained – 90% there (accidents are usually the human’s fault for missing his signal)

Crate trained – no, but does well in a gated room

Car rides ✔

Reggie’s foster mom says he’s the most precious little soul — an absolute love bug. Whoever adopts Reggie is going to be one lucky family.

Since arriving at his foster home, Reggie has been such a good boy and has learned so much about being a dog.

He’s learned to go to the door when he needs to go outside, and he’s got it down about 90% of the time. He just needs a little more time to nail the last 10%. His humans need to stay tuned in, since he waits until he really has to go — miss the signal, and all bets are off.

He’s also learned that it’s okay to share toys, bones, and food with other dogs, because there’s always enough to go around. Though he still loves a good game of keep-away now and then.

Reggie has learned how to properly play with other dogs, thanks to his foster sibling Bluey, who’s shown him the ropes — chase me, then I’ll chase you. The two of them love zooming around the yard, rolling around, and playing chase. He’s also figured out how to hold his own in a solid game of tug-of-war.

Reggie does have some separation anxiety when his favorite human leaves, but instead of barking, his go-to outlet is jumping straight up in the air. He’s slowly learning that his foster mom always comes back, but this is something his future family will need to keep working on with him.

Reggie has the best personality. Once he feels safe, he’s a total snuggler — sweet, loving, funny, and just so much fun to have around.

Reggie’s forever home will need a fenced yard so he can run, play, and soak up the sun to his heart’s content.

He’d also love a fur sibling — as long as that resident dog isn’t possessive over toys, food, or people, and isn’t the type to get crabby about sharing their space. Reggie does best with a happy-go-lucky dog who’ll welcome him with open paws.

Rowdy

🐾 Hi, I’m Rowdy – The Snuggle King, Ice Cream Connoisseur, and Bone Bandit Extraordinaire 🍦👑

Breed: Chihuahua/Poodle Mix | DOB: 5/3/19

Weight: 17 lbs of pure snuggle | Adoption Fee: $400

👉 Apply to adopt me – you won’t regret it!

What’s up, future family?

Name’s Rowdy—but I swear I’m more teddy bear than troublemaker. I’m just a little guy with a big heart, a love for ice cream, and a talent for burrowing under the covers like a champion.

Let’s get this out of the way: I am the best kisser in the tri-state area. No contest. If you don’t like puppy smooches, we might have a problem. But if you do? Buckle up. 💋

⸻

🐶 Here’s the Lowdown on Me:

• I’m shy at first. I won’t lie—I need some time to warm up to new people. Loud noises and sudden movements? Not a fan. But once I trust you, I’m the clingiest, coziest cuddlebug you’ve ever met. I will be in your lap, under your blanket, and possibly stealing your pillow.

• I LOVE to snuggle under the covers. It’s basically my full-time job.

• I enjoy going to dog bars and sipping on a good puppuccino while pretending I’m cool and mysterious.

• I will eat all the ice cream you allow me to have. No shame. Sharing? Never heard of it.

• I’m great with other dogs (especially chill ones) and I’m cool with cats—as long as they’re the kind that don’t mind me being a little too friendly.

• Got a bone? Cool. I’ll probably borrow it. “Forever” is a flexible term, right?

⸻

🏡 What I’m Looking For:

• A calm home where I can settle in at my own pace. I need people who understand that gaining my trust is like winning the lottery. But instead of cash, you get a best friend who follows you to the bathroom.

• A secure fence, because if I get scared, I might try out for the doggy Olympics (fence-jumping edition).

• Another easygoing doggy sibling who doesn’t mind sharing their snacks and showing me the ropes.

• Kids? I can do respectful, dog-savvy kids who know not to interrupt a man during his beauty nap or when he’s hiding in his safe spot.

⸻

💩 Potty Talk (Let’s Be Real):

I’m doing awesome with house training—as long as I have a consistent routine. I’m not a wizard. I need structure. And also treats. Lots of treats. 🍖

⸻

💡 Bonus for My Future Fam:

If you take me to a positive reinforcement training class, you’ll get $100 back from Fetch Foster and Rescue! That’s like… so many doggy donuts. (You don’t have to spend it on me, but, like… you should.)

⸻

💌 In Conclusion:

I’m quirky, I’m cuddly, I’ve got a smooch that’ll melt your heart, and I just need someone who’s willing to go slow and love me lots. In return, you’ll get a best friend who snuggles hard, naps harder, and will never turn down a road trip to the ice cream shop.

If you’ve got a cozy couch, some spare bones, and a little patience—I’ve got a whole lot of love (and probably a little dog drool) to give. 💕

Wanna meet me? Let’s make magic.

👉 Apply to adopt me here!

With licks, snuggles, and sweet dreams,

Russell

Can you believe it? I’ve been set free from what I thought was going to be my demise. These past few weeks on the outside have shown me just how fantastic life can be! I’m Russell & my curly hair is even growing back. I think I look so handsome. 🩵

In my short time with a foster family, I’ve learned a lot. I learned that when I stay in my crate, I’ll get a yummy chew treat, & my mom will always let me out of there. I’m learning to trust & love, so I’d much rather be with my people or the family dogs. Certain sounds or sudden movements may frighten me & I may bark a bit. I’ve learned that to walk on a leash allows me to sniff EVERYTHING, even though some sounds may scare me (like those loud motorcycles 🏍️). I’m doing well with house training, as long as I go outside regularly. My mom always says, “Good boy, Russell!”

I have a lot of energy, so I would really love other dogs (or cats or humans) to play with everyday! Most of all, I’m learning that the human touch can be gentle & kind, & no one will ever use me or hurt me again.

Will you give me a chance? I’m still a puppy, so we can grow old together. Please apply for me, Russell. ❤️

Scooter

Meet Scooter! This handsome 1.5-year-old Beagle is looking for a patient adopter who will give him the time he needs to feel safe and loved. While he can be a little shy when meeting new people, especially men, once he trusts you, his sweet personality shines through. He'll happily follow you around the house, snuggle up for cuddles, and become your loyal best friend.

Scooter loves being outdoors and enjoys walks, though his Beagle nose occasionally leads him on little sniffing adventures. He rides great in the car, is doing wonderfully with pottying outside, and gets along well with his two foster Beagle sisters. Once he's comfortable in his surroundings, he loves to play and have fun.

Because he can be nervous around unfamiliar people, particularly men, he'll need a patient family that understands trust takes time. He may initially growl when a man enters the room, but with gentle, calm interactions and patience, he continues to make progress and will even accept pets when he's feeling comfortable.

If you're willing to let this sweet boy move at his own pace, you'll be rewarded with a devoted companion who just wants a person to call his own.

My qualifications include: expert-level napping skills (especially on the couch), a strong work ethic when it comes to belly rubs, and a proven ability to make you laugh with my dramatic snorts and dramatic sighs. Dislikes include: sudden loud noises, riding in the car, being left out of the snack loop, and having my naps interrupted. Strengths: cuddles, loyalty, and a healthy appreciation for naps. I'm looking for a home with a comfy couch, a reliable source of treats, and a human who understands that sometimes, a dog just needs to be left alone (to nap, of course)."

Twinkle is a sweet girl who is just beginning her journey of discovering what it's like to be a beloved family pet. She is learning that the world can be a safe and happy place filled with belly rubs, couches to lay on, and lots of love.

Twinkle is making great progress with house and potty training and will thrive with a patient family willing to continue helping her learn. She is still coming out of her shell is a little shy at first, but every day she becomes a little more confident.

One thing Twinkle knows for sure is that she loves other dogs! Her happiest moments are spent running, playing, and exploring outside. A secure fenced yard is her dream, and having another playful, confident dog in the home would help her continue to build confidence and show her the ropes.

Twinkle currently lives with children and is doing well with them. Because she is still learning to trust and adjust to family life, she will need an understanding home that will let her settle in at her own pace.

**This dog was rescued from a breeding situation. Every dog is different, but here is some information on what bringing a breeder dog into your home can be like and some supports they may need to transition into their new life! While it can be challenging at first, it is incredibly rewarding to see these dogs grow and come out of their shells. Please give them a chance if you are able! https://resources.bestfriends.org/article/puppy-mill-rescue-dogs-transition-home-life
