Oh, um, hi there. My name is Cheers!

I am a sweet, elderly poodle who was recently rescued from a commercial breeding situation. I’ve never really known a true home or love before in my life, but I am starting to learn the joy of a good snuggle on the bed, the relaxation of a soft bed, and the comfort of a gentle pet. I have been a very well behaved house guest so far in my foster home! I get along with all sizes of my canine foster siblings (8lbs to 130lbs!) and I haven’t had a single accident in the house. I like to follow my doggie siblings around and learn from them on if something is safe or not. Most of the time I prefer to just find a soft place to curl up donut style and snooze. I am still learning how to walk on a leash and this new world is pretty scary yet, but those things will come with time! My foster pawrents are enjoying watching me come out of my shell every day 💜

Good with Cats: I haven’t met any cats yet, but my foster mom doesn’t anticipate them being a problem.

Good with Dogs: I don’t mind other dogs at all, as long as they are gentle with me- I’m older!

Good with Kids: I haven’t been around kids much but my foster mom thinks that older or quieter kids who can be gentle with and around me may be fine.

Special Requirements: Fenced in yard, another dog to show me the ropes of how to be a normal dog.
