Meet Popsicle, aka Pops — a tiny little Yorkie with the spirit of a fighter and a soft spot for his human. Leaving behind the life of a breeder “stud,” Pops arrived in pretty rough condition: a nasty double ear infection, weepy eyes, wounds all over his little head and ears, three wiggly teeth, and a fractured jaw discovered by our veterinarian after intake.
Despite his past, Pops is the most loving little guy. He enjoys snuggling with his foster mom, lounging around in bed, and cozying up to and playing with his sweet foster siblings and his tiny little “stuffy” toys.
This little guy also loves a good adventure — he enjoys going for walks and meeting new people of all ages.
He’s a connoisseur of good food and drink, and enjoys tasty little treats.
Pops has been in rescue for about three months while he healed and learned how to “dog.”
While he doesn’t take up much room on your lap, Pops is sure to steal your heart. 🩵

**This dog was rescued from a breeding situation. Every dog is different, but here is some information on what bringing a breeder dog into your home can be like and some supports they may need to transition into their new life! While it can be challenging at first, it is incredibly rewarding to see these dogs grow and come out of their shells. Please give them a chance if you are able! https://resources.bestfriends.org/article/puppy-mill-rescue-dogs-transition-home-life
